The Crisp Clean White Shirt

This is one of my most favorite things that a man could wear. It's so simple. So elegant. So casual. So "I am secure enough with my own sense of style that this is all I need" No bells, no whistles, just you.

Whatever brand you choose, just make sure it fits. 2 fingers comfortably at the neck, try and avoid overly baggy shirts, you don't want to look like you borrowed one from your dad, or that you used to be on the chunky side and are now a hoarder who refuses to get rid of their old wardrobe...

Anyways! White comes in several shades and some might match different outfits better, and some fabrics will work better with casual or elegant. So stock a few in your wardrobe, and remember, when it comes to white shirts you should always have some Tide To Go handy.

Flower Power

Saw this fantastic man at the Dekalb Market during one of it's outdoor festivals. He was rocking a light blue denim shirt, khaki's and placed a pink daisy at the collar. It was so interesting and showed his personal style. That's the great thing about the denim shirt, everyone wears them, but how do you wear yours?

The Manliest Men wear Pink

I am afraid of color. Really, I am. My closet is mostly black, white, black, and tan (which most likely used to be a white shirt). But let me say this: I have a pair of hot pink stilettos, and I love them. Just as much as I love a man who will rock one piece of color, even if its pink, hot pink, light pink, just a spot, somewhere. It could be a tie, a pocket square, a dress shirt, maybe even pants (that is a heavy maybe), but color is good. And I imagine a man who isn't afraid of pink clearly isn't scared off by a lot of other things, and that my friend, is hella sexy.

Cuffs

I like a man who rolls up his pants. It doesn't work with evyerthing, but sometimes, even if he is wearing a tie, a vest, and a coat, bundled up for the cold weather/rain, pants can still be rolled up. It's a great way to change a look, those pants you wear all the time but want them to be just a bit different on that day. So to men I say keep on cuffin'.
